Petrie is a surprising hub of bicycle activity. There are two main cycleways, the route west to Lake Samsonvale, and the commuter cycle network that follows the railway to the south.
There are also provisions to get to Redcliffe via Kallangur, although the cycleway is patchy and not of very high quality until you get closer to Kippa Ring.
